Meat & Potatoes

By Chad Carns

When your favorite bar and restaurant meet inside of four walls.

Stop #6:

Speaking of bars, do you know which city has the best bars in the world? It’s Pittsburgh. Try to prove me wrong.
And what makes Pittsburgh a great bar city? Its space. You need space to drink. As rent increase across America, space decreases. Ever feel like the bartender sets a mental timer the moment you pull up to the bar? He gives you the hurry-up-and-drink look after a few cocktails to make room for the next “Bar Stool Tenant.” It almost feels like you’re renting the seat for the hour in some cities.
Not at Meat & Potatoes. You feel like family. It’s like “Cheers” with super high-end bar snacks, a full dinner menu, creative cocktails, and a decent wine selection. Stay for dinner or check out a show at Heinz Hall across the street.
