Lemon Sage Shrimp

Lemon Sage Shrimp is a quick and easy gourmet appetizer for date night or a fancy dinner party!

Your guests are starting to show up early (please don’t do this!). They are getting hungry and cranky. Dinner is 1 hour away. Good thing you planned in advance! With a free skillet and a few pounds of peeled shrimp, you are ready to sear off some Lemon Sage Shrimp.

Finger food is great option for a cocktail party.

No dishes and a free hand to hold your cocktail!



10 sage leaves
1 lb shrimp, cleaned, dried
4 T olive oil
2 T Lemon Juice
1 t sea salt




Sear sage leaves in 3 T of olive oil for 10 seconds per side. Remove. Place sage on serving platter. Sauté shrimp in sage-flavored olive oil for 1 minute per side.  Place shrimp on top of sage. Generously pour lemon juice and remaining olive oil on shrimp. Sprinkle with sea salt.
