My favorite Margarita recipe is very simple. Just pick up a bottle of tequila, Cointreau and a dozen fresh limes and you’re on ready to go!

It’s National Margarita Day!!! That’s right, our nation named today to be the official holiday for one of my favorite frosty beverages. Tell your boss that offices across the country officially close at 4 P.M. today.

My favorite Margarita recipe is very simple. Just pick up a bottle of Tequila, Cointreau and a dozen fresh limes and you’re on ready to go!

1/1 oz Cointreau
1 oz lime juice
salt (optional)

DIRECTIONS

If using salt, place in a shallow dish. Moisten the rim of a rocks glass with a dampened paper towel, then dip in salt. Fill the glass with ice; add tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau; and stir a few times until chilled. Serve immediately.
