Skip the touristy midtown hotel cocktail bars and take the F train downtown to Daddy-O for über cocktails in the heart of NYC’s West Village.

Daddy-O is a neighborhood bar serving specialty cocktails, craft beer, rare spirits & casual American fare.  Current owner (and previous Chippendale dancer) Phil Casaceli has devoted over 15 years of his life to renewing the cocktail culture in a very unassuming fashion in this local celebrity chef’s hang out.

Come for a cocktail, stay for a burger and finish with an aged Rye whiskey or three.

Daddy-O can be the most romantic candle-lit, late-night cocktail spot one night and then a raucous game-night-out with the bros the next night but either way, the service will be warm, the cocktails will be perfect and the food will remind you of home.

For a sweet taste of traditional Greenwich Village, take your date a block up Leroy Street to Rocco’s on Bleecker Street for one of the best tiramisu in town.
