Arcade Fire-The Suburbs - o.k. I’m still only three listens in with this album. I need a ton more time with it but to me it sounds like a big winner and contender for album of the year. 2 to 3 tracks have already emerged as standouts and there are no tracks that I dislike. The album flows better than “Neon Bible”.  Arcade Fire look like they’re here to stay!

So, when I’m not cooking, trying new restaurants or attending wine tastings I love listening to new music. Music is really a true escape for me.  Living in Greenwich Village, it’s easy to discover a new band just by walking around the corner.  Here’s my list of favorite new bands for the summer & New York concert dates including Crosby, Stills & Nash, Vampire Weekend & Jimmy Buffett @ Jones Beach.
